Crevio accounts support multiple users, so you can bring on collaborators, assistants, or business partners without sharing your login credentials. Each team member gets their own login and a role that controls what they can access.

Roles

Every team member has one of three roles:
The account owner is always treated as an admin and cannot have their admin role removed. This ensures there is always at least one person with full access to the account.
To keep one teammate from using up the account’s credits, an admin can give them a credit limit per billing cycle under Settings → Usage. See Credit limits per teammate.

Inviting team members

1

Go to Team settings

Open Settings in your dashboard and navigate to the Team section.
2

Send an invitation

Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and select the role you want to assign them (admin or member).
3

They accept the invitation

The invitee receives an email with a link to accept the invitation. If they already have a Crevio account, they are added to your team immediately. If not, they create an account first and are then added.
You cannot invite someone who is already a member of your account. If you need to change their role, update it from the team settings page instead.

Which plans can invite

Inviting teammates needs the Pro plan or above. On the Starter plan, inviting asks you to upgrade first. There is no limit on how many admins or members you invite.

Managing team permissions

From the team settings page, you can:
  • View all team members — See everyone on your team, their role, and when they joined
  • Change roles — Promote a member to admin or change an admin to a member
  • Remove team members — Remove someone from your account entirely
  • Cancel pending invitations — Revoke invitations that have not yet been accepted

Member permissions

Member permissions, Who can use the agent and Groups appear on the Team page once someone else has joined your account. Under Settings → Team → Member permissions, admins choose what members can ask the assistant to do. Each switch starts off, so until an admin turns one on, only admins can do it. Admins can always do all of it. When a switch is off and a member asks for one of these, the assistant tells them it needs an admin and points them to this setting. In a shared Slack or Discord thread, the assistant goes by whoever wrote the latest message.

Who can use the assistant

Under Settings → Team → Who can use the agent, admins decide who can talk to the assistant, on the web, in the apps, and in Slack, Discord and Telegram. As the owner, you can always use it.
  • Access: Everyone except blocked people (the default) or Only people you allow. With Only people you allow, add the people under Allowed people; nobody else on the team gets an answer.
  • Blocked people: these people can’t use the assistant, whichever access you pick. Someone you block sees a notice on the chat page, and gets a short reply instead of an answer in Slack, Discord and Telegram.
  • Slack guests can use the agent: on by default. Turn it off to refuse single- and multi-channel guests, and people from other companies in shared channels, even if they have a Crevio login.
  • Whom the agent may message directly: Anyone in the workspace (the default) or Only teammates who can use the agent. With the second, the assistant won’t start a Slack DM with anyone who isn’t on your Crevio team and allowed to use it, so it can’t, for example, message a new Slack joiner who hasn’t joined Crevio yet.
The lists show admins, and members who have linked Slack, Discord or Telegram to their Crevio login.

Groups

A group is a named set of teammates, so you can share with several people in one step. Admins manage groups under Settings → Team → Groups:
  1. Select New group, enter a Group name, and tick the teammates in it.
  2. Select Create group.
To rename a group or change who is in it, select the pencil next to it. To remove it, select the bin. Deleting a group takes away anything that was shared with the group; access shared with someone by name stays. You can use a group wherever you pick people:
  • Connected apps: on an app’s Access tab, choose Specific people and tick the group. Everyone in the group can use the app; when someone leaves the group, they lose it.
  • Pages: ask the assistant to share a page with a group by name, for example “publish this report for the Leadership group”.
  • Who can use the assistant: groups appear in the Allowed people and Blocked people lists. Someone in a blocked group is blocked, even if they are also allowed another way.
Only teammates can be in a group. Your customers never appear in the list.

Ask why the assistant can’t see something

The assistant works with the access of the person it’s talking to. A connected app that a teammate connected for themselves, or shared only with certain people, isn’t available in your chats, and each person’s saved preferences stay private to them. A scheduled job works with the access of the person who set it up, and a built-in routine only uses apps shared with the whole team. Ask the assistant directly, for example “Why can’t you see my teammate’s Gmail?” or “Why couldn’t Kacper create a task?”. It checks the app’s sharing setting, the member permissions and who may use the assistant, then tells you what’s blocking it and who can change it.

Activity log

On the Enterprise plan, recent activity on the account is listed under Settings → Security. See Activity.

Account ownership

The account owner starts as the person who created the account. The owner always has the admin role, and they are the only user who can manage billing and delete the account. The owner can hand ownership to another member: go to Settings → Team, open the menu on that person’s row, and choose Transfer ownership. The new owner is made an admin if they weren’t already, and you keep your current role. Only the owner can do this, and the account needs at least two members.
If you need multiple people with broad access, invite them as admins. Admin users have nearly the same capabilities as the owner, except the billing page and deleting the account.

Multi-account membership

A single Crevio user can belong to multiple accounts. This is useful for freelancers, agencies, or business owners who manage several brands. Each account has its own team, products, customers, and settings — there is no data shared between accounts unless explicitly configured through the API. When a user belongs to multiple accounts, they can switch between them from their account selector in the dashboard.
