Why you’d use this
- You want a real website or app fast. Describe it once and it is built, usually within minutes.
- You are not technical. You never have to touch design tools, code, or hosting. Crevio handles every part.
- You want it to keep up with you. As your business changes, you just ask Crevio to update the site — no redoing it from scratch.
The golden rule of Crevio: when in doubt, just ask. If you can describe it in a sentence, Crevio can usually build it.
Start your website by describing it
1
Tell Crevio what you're selling
Open Crevio and describe your business in your own words. The more you share, the better the result — but a single sentence is enough to begin. For example:“I’m a personal trainer. I want a warm, friendly site with my coaching packages, an about page, and a place for people to join my mailing list.”
2
Add the look and feel you want
Mention your style if you have one in mind — “bold and modern”, “calm and minimal”, “playful with bright colors”. If you are not sure, leave it out and Crevio will choose something that fits your business.
3
Let Crevio build it
Crevio gets to work and assembles your full website or app — pages, design, and sample content. You can watch the progress as it goes.
4
Look it over
When it is ready, Crevio shows you a preview of your new site. Click around and see how it feels. Nothing is final — everything can be changed.
Ask Crevio to change anything
Once your site exists, improving it is just a conversation. You do not hunt through menus — you describe what you want and Crevio makes the change. Things you can simply ask for:- “Make it bolder and more colorful.”
- “Add a pricing section with three plans.”
- “Move the sign-up form higher up the page.”
- “Write a friendlier welcome message at the top.”
- “Add a frequently asked questions section.”
- “Use a softer, more elegant style throughout.”
Choose who can see your site
You decide who is allowed to view your website. This is handy whether you are still polishing it or want to keep certain pages for paying members only.
You can change this at any time. A common path is to keep it admins-only while you set things up, then open it to everyone when you are ready to launch.
Customers and Account members are not the same thing. Customers are everyone on your customer list, including leads who haven’t bought anything; account members are the people who help you run the business. Pick Customers for a members area your buyers log into.
Keep a site out of search engines
Under Visibility, turn off Show in search engines to ask Google and other search engines not to list your site. Visitors can still open it from a link. This only matters for a public site: sites that need a sign-in are never listed anyway. Someone signed in to a members area can sign out again from the site itself — the sign-out link ends the session on that site only, and never signs them out of anything else. How Crevio checks your members area
When Crevio builds or changes pages only signed-in customers can see, it tests them as a customer would. Each site gets its own test member for this: a customer named “Test member” with an address ending in@test-member.invalid. You’ll see it in your customer list. No email ever reaches it, and it never pays for anything. Sites limited to your team don’t use one, since customers can’t sign in to them.
Find a site in your list
On the Sites screen you can search by name or address, filter by who created a site and by whether it’s live, sleeping or not published yet, and sort by most recently published, name, or age. To keep a site at the top for your whole team, open its menu and choose Pin to top.See your site’s data
The Database tab in your site’s settings shows the tables your site stores its data in, like sign-ups, bookings or orders, and the rows inside each one. Switch between the live site and the development copy Crevio builds against. Nothing here changes your data; to change it, ask Crevio. When something on your site breaks, ask Crevio to check your site’s logs.Use your connected apps on your site
Your site can show live data from the apps you connected to Crevio, like a list of your latest HubSpot deals, upcoming calendar events or rows from your own API. Ask for it: “show our five newest Notion projects on the homepage.”- Only team connections. A site can use the connections your whole team shares. Someone’s personal connection, or one you limited to specific people, stays off limits. To use one, connect it again as a team connection under Customize → Connectors.
- The same rules as chats. Reading data happens right away. An action you set to ask for approval first, like sending an email, waits until someone on your team approves it in Crevio.
Bring an older site up to the latest version
Sites built a while ago keep running the design foundation they started with, so they miss newer built-in features (like the members area and sign-in). Ask Crevio: “update my site to the latest version.” Crevio first saves a backup of your site, then moves your pages, words and design onto the newest foundation and checks everything on the preview. Your live site is not touched until you say to publish. If anything doesn’t work, Crevio puts your site back exactly as it was and tells you.Connect your own web address
Every Crevio site comes with its own free web address right away, so it works the moment it is built. When you are ready to look more professional, you can connect your own custom web address — likeyourbrand.com — instead.
You can buy a brand-new web address inside Crevio or connect one you already own. Crevio walks you through it and confirms when everything is live.
Set up your own web address
See the full, plain-language guide to buying or connecting a custom web address.
See how your site is doing
Crevio shows you visitor stats so you can tell what is working. At a glance you can see how many people are visiting, which pages they look at most, and where they are coming from. You do not need to set anything up — the stats are simply there. How many websites you can have
Every plan includes one website. Running several side by side — a second brand, a separate project, a client site — is part of the Business plan:
Once you’re at your limit, the Create site button is grayed out with a note explaining you’ve reached your plan’s limit and pointing you to Business for unlimited sites. Upgrading lifts the limit immediately — no need to delete your existing site first.
Crevio publishes it for you
When you are happy with your site, Crevio publishes it and keeps it online for you. There is no separate hosting to buy, no buttons to wire up, and nothing technical to manage. Your site stays up and running, and every time you ask for a change, Crevio updates the live version for you. A site only goes live when you or Crevio publishes it on purpose. If you tell Crevio “don’t publish yet” — in a chat or in a scheduled job — it stays a draft until you say otherwise.Free sites go offline after 30 quiet days
On the free plan, Crevio takes your site offline when all of these have been true for 30 days:- Nobody on your account has messaged Crevio or opened Crevio.
- Your site has not been published.
- Your site does not use your own web address.
You are never locked into a final version. Your website grows and changes alongside your business — just keep asking Crevio.
If something goes wrong
The site doesn't look the way I imagined
The site doesn't look the way I imagined
Tell Crevio what feels off in plain words — “this section is too crowded” or “I wanted warmer colors.” Crevio will adjust it. The more detail you give about what you do and do not like, the closer the next version gets.
A change didn't come out right
A change didn't come out right
Just ask Crevio to undo it or try a different approach. For example: “That is not what I meant — go back to how it was and instead make the heading larger.”
Something I published broke my live site
Something I published broke my live site
You can go back to an earlier version. Ask Crevio: “Roll my site back to the version before this morning’s update.” It puts the previous published version live again, and you can then work out the change properly without visitors seeing a broken site in the meantime.
My site isn't showing up at my own web address yet
My site isn't showing up at my own web address yet
When you connect a custom web address, it can take a little while to become active across the internet. This is normal. See the web address guide for what to expect, and Crevio will confirm once it is live.
I'm not sure how to describe what I want
I'm not sure how to describe what I want
Start with the basics: what you sell, who it is for, and the feeling you want visitors to have. You can also ask Crevio for ideas — “What kind of homepage would suit a yoga studio?” — and build from there.
I can't create a second website
