You asked Crevio to change something, it said it was done, and your site looks the same. Here’s what’s actually going on, in the order it’s worth checking.

First: your work isn’t lost

When Crevio changes your site, it builds a new version and publishes it. Your existing site keeps serving the whole time. Only when the new version builds successfully does it take over. A failed publish cannot replace a working site. Exactly one version of your site is live at a time, and a version that didn’t build never becomes that one. So “my change isn’t showing” almost always means the new version hasn’t gone live yet — not that anything was destroyed.

Check these in order

1

Give it a few minutes

A publish typically takes around six minutes, and longer for a big change or a first build. If you asked a minute ago, it’s still working.
2

Hard-refresh the page

Your browser caches pages aggressively. Reload with Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows), or open the site in a private window. This is the single most common cause. Check it before anything else.
3

Make sure you're looking at the live site

Not an old tab, not a preview link from earlier in the conversation. Go to your actual web address.
4

Check the version's status

Open your site’s versions in the dashboard. The most recent one tells you where things stand:
  • Building — still going. Wait.
  • Live — it published. If you still can’t see the change, it’s a browser cache issue or the change isn’t where you’re looking.
  • Failed — it didn’t build, and your previous version is still serving. Ask Crevio to fix it.

If the version says failed

Tell Crevio in chat: “the last publish failed, can you fix it?” It can read what went wrong and try again. You don’t need to send us an error message or work out what broke. A failed publish is not a broken site. Visitors are still seeing your last working version the whole time.

If it’s been stuck building for a long time

A publish that stops reporting progress is marked as failed automatically after 20 minutes, so a version stuck on building for longer than that will resolve itself into a failed you can retry. If you’re past that and it still hasn’t moved, that one’s on us — contact support with your web address.

The change published but looks wrong

That’s a different problem, and it’s a normal one. The publish worked; the result isn’t what you wanted. Just say so in chat — describe what you expected and what you got, and ask for the adjustment. You can also put the site back on an earlier version from your site’s versions list, then take another run at the change.
