Ads are how you reach people who don’t know you yet. But ad platforms are complicated, and it’s easy to waste money if you’re not sure what you’re doing. Crevio makes it simple: you tell it what you want and how much you want to spend, and it helps build and run your campaigns. You can advertise across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Google, and more — all from one place.

Connect your ad account first

Before you can run ads, you connect the ad account you advertise from (for example your Facebook or Google ads account). This is a one-time step that lets Crevio create and manage campaigns for you.
1

Open Ads

In your dashboard, go to Ads and choose to connect an ad account.
2

Sign in and approve

Sign in to the platform and approve Crevio to manage ads on your behalf.
3

You're ready to advertise

Once connected, you can start campaigns on that platform.
Your ad spend is billed by the ad platform directly (for example Facebook charges your card for the ads themselves). Crevio helps you set it all up and keep it on track.

How many ad accounts you can connect

Connecting ad accounts is available on the Business plan: Ad accounts have their own allowance, separate from the social accounts you post from — connecting one doesn’t use up the other.

Tell Crevio your goal and budget

Instead of fiddling with settings, just describe what you want. Crevio turns that into a campaign and helps manage it day to day.
1

Describe your goal

Tell Crevio what you want — “get more sign-ups for my course” or “sell more of my new download” — and who you want to reach.
2

Set your budget

Say how much you want to spend, for example a daily or total amount. Crevio works within it.
3

Review and launch

Crevio drafts the campaign — the audience, the wording, and the images. Review it, make changes, and launch when you’re happy.
Keep it conversational. Try “spend $10 a day promoting my Instagram post to people interested in fitness” and Crevio handles the setup.

Ads for housing, jobs, or financial services

Facebook and Instagram treat these as special ad categories. Any ad that offers homes for sale or rent, mortgages, jobs, loans, credit, or insurance has to declare its category, and the audience you can reach is limited so nobody is shut out unfairly. Tell Crevio what the ad offers, and it declares the category when it creates the campaign. Under a housing, jobs, or financial category:
  • Age: you can’t narrow it. The ad reaches everyone 18 and over.
  • Gender: you can’t narrow it. The ad reaches all genders.
  • Location: no ZIP code targeting. In the US and Canada, a city, address, or pin covers at least a 15-mile radius.
  • Lookalike audiences: not available.
If you ask for one of these, Crevio leaves it out and tells you why, because Facebook refuses the campaign otherwise. These limits are Facebook’s rules, so they apply however you create the ad. Crevio can’t add a category to a campaign that already exists. To fix one, Crevio drafts a new campaign with the category set, and you approve it before it runs.

Boost a post

Have a social post that’s doing well? You can put a budget behind it to reach far more people, without building a campaign from scratch. Just pick the post and tell Crevio how much to spend.

Capture leads with lead forms

Some ads can collect contact details directly — a “lead form” — so interested people can sign up without leaving the app they’re in. Those leads flow into your customers list so you can follow up by email or even an AI phone call.

See what’s working

Crevio shows you how your ads are performing and where your money is going, in plain language. Ask “which ad is getting the most sign-ups?” and Crevio helps you put more behind what works and pause what doesn’t.

Get your ad account audited

Ask “audit my Facebook ads” or “audit my Google Ads account” and Crevio reviews everything: what’s wasting money, which ads have gone stale, whether your sales are being counted correctly, and whether your pages match what people searched for. You get a short list of fixes, biggest savings first, each with a dollar estimate. The advice fits the size of your account. A business spending a few hundred dollars a month gets different recommendations than one spending thousands, so you won’t be told to split a small budget into a complicated setup.
No ad account connected yet? Download a report from Ads Manager or Google Ads, attach it to the chat, and ask for the audit. Crevio works from the file.

Stop paying for the wrong Google searches

Google sometimes shows your ads for searches that will never buy, like “free templates” or “jobs”. With your Google Ads account connected, ask “clean up my search terms” and Crevio:
  • reads which searches your ads actually showed up for, and what each one cost
  • picks out the ones that spend money without bringing sales, and blocks them for a whole campaign or for one ad group
  • suggests the searches that do bring sales as new keywords
Crevio never blocks or adds anything on its own. It shows you the list, with what each search cost, and waits for you to approve it.

Keep a campaign in check while you’re away

Ask “pause Spring-Promo if it starts burning money” or “scale it if it keeps selling”, and Crevio proposes a rule with real numbers, for example “pause it if it spends $90 in a day with no sales”. Nothing is set up until you say yes. Once you agree, Crevio checks the campaign every hour from 10 in the morning to 10 at night in your time zone:
  • Pause rules pause only the campaigns you named, and tell you what was paused and why. Crevio never turns a campaign back on by itself.
  • Scale rules never change your budget on their own. When a campaign keeps beating your target, Crevio proposes the increase and waits for your approval.
These rules are Crevio automations, so they show up under Scheduled in the sidebar, not in Facebook Ads Manager or Google Ads. To change or stop one, ask Crevio or switch it off there.

Name your ads your way

If your reports or filters rely on ad names, tell Crevio how you name them, for example “name my Facebook ads platform, objective, audience, offer, date”. Crevio remembers that pattern for that ad account and names every new ad from it, such as META_Sales_Lookalike-Customers_Free-Trial_202610.
  • Crevio asks you for any part it doesn’t know, like the audience, rather than guessing.
  • Each ad account can have its own pattern, and campaigns, ad sets and ads can follow different ones. To change a pattern or stop using it, tell Crevio.
  • It applies to ads Crevio creates from then on. Ads that already exist keep their names.
  • You can tell Crevio your pattern before you connect an ad account. It’s used once the account is connected.

If something goes wrong

Ad platforms review every ad against their rules. Crevio will tell you if an ad was rejected. Usually a small wording or image change fixes it — ask Crevio to adjust it and resubmit.
Make sure you’re signing in to the right account and that you have permission to manage ads on it. Try connecting again from the Ads page. If Crevio says the feature isn’t on your plan or that you’ve reached your limit, see how many ad accounts you can connect.
Give a campaign a little time to find the right audience. If results are still low, ask Crevio to review it — it can suggest a different audience, message, or budget.
You can pause or stop any campaign at any time. Just ask Crevio or do it from the Ads page.
