Why this happens
Connections don’t last forever, and it’s rarely something you did wrong. The permission you granted expires or gets withdrawn on the other platform’s side:- The platform expired it on a schedule. Most do.
- You changed your password there, which cancels connected apps.
- You removed Crevio from that platform’s connected-apps list.
- The platform locked or suspended the account.
- Someone on your team disconnected it.
Reconnecting is the fix, and it’s safe
Go to the connection in your dashboard and reconnect it. You’ll approve Crevio on the other platform, the same way you did originally. You don’t lose anything by reconnecting. Your schedules, your instructions, your posted history, and your settings are all kept. Reconnecting restores the permission and everything resumes from where it stopped. It’s also free — reconnecting spends no credits. What happens while it’s disconnected
Crevio stops rather than guessing.- Social posts that couldn’t go out are marked disconnected rather than failed, so you can tell the difference between “the platform rejected this” and “we couldn’t reach your account”. They aren’t silently posted from somewhere else.
- Automations that depend on that connection stop at that step.
- Your schedule stays set. Nothing is deleted, and nothing needs rebuilding.

If reconnecting doesn’t hold
If a connection drops again shortly after you reconnect it, the cause is usually on the platform side:- The account has limited or restricted API access.
- A platform policy review is in progress.
- The account you’re connecting doesn’t have permission to post — on some platforms a personal profile and a business page are different things, and only one of them can be posted to.
